Purple Corner Two

10 x 14 watercolor and pastel on paper. This is the 2nd piece of a series. I think they would look cool grouped together. People ask me why I don't work on canvas so they wouldn't have to buy a mat and frame. Well, I keep my prices reasonable and these works can be framed with a ready-to-made frames, so they are economical. Pastel and watercolor are striking under glass -  they come alive. At the Musee D'Orsay in Paris,  Degas and other pastel artists' works are displayed framed under glass and they are still vibrant and stunning after all these years.

  1. Elizabeth had commented that this work looked like an abstract version of your Spanish Stallion. I just had to agree. We love your use of color.... Don
