At Pond's Edge, abstract painting by Carol Engles

10 x 14 mixed media on paper. I decided to do some abstract ponds. I don't know where this idea came from. HA! I am always looking forward to doing new series or subjects. I am also going to do some more lagoons, too. I tried to suggest water without actually making it look just like water with the grasses etc. at the edge. Or, of course, since this is an abstract it could be a field of flowers or a tapestry. It does have a fabric quality I think. Hope you enjoy it!
