San Diego Bay Two

5 x 7 watercolor with pastel on paper. This is my second San Diego Bay. I plan to do larger versions of both. This one is more detailed than the first. I want to only suggest boats, docks and water. This is why I enjoy abstract so much - it's up to your imagination to see what you want to see! I have had lots of training in realism and I enjoy it as well, but abstract is so much fun. And abstract artists will tell you, it is harder to do than it looks. This was a puzzle - I needed to balance the shapes, colors and lines so it all tied together. Hope you like it and San Diego Bay One, too.

  1. Carol, I enjoy your art and bright colors very much. Abstract is a mystery to me, but I like the idea and hope to learn more.
