10x14 watercolor with pastel on paper. These colors really work for me. They are both rich and lively. I find that I like to use aqua with brown, as well as violet. Red is usually a highlight color for me, and not the dominant color. I am thinking of doing some pieces where red is the main color - and see what happens.
