Yellow & Rust Sky

This is an 8x10 watercolor with pastel. I added some aqua and pink as a surprise contrast. I think I am going to do some more pieces with this color combination. I am also working today with dark blue and green combinations. My theory on color is that it is OK to combine colors that aren't commonly used as long as there are base colors that hold the entire piece together.
