Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a mixed media artist who lives in Murrieta, California. I work in acrylics, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and other water and drawing media. Southwest Cityscape Twelve, abstract landscape by Carol Engles
5 x 7 mixed media on paper. This is another small abstract that I am going to make in to a larger version - with a few changes of course! I may do the larger one with less line and more of a blended technique. Check back and see what I end up doing, OK? SOLD
Thanks Theresa! I like adding the turquoise because it is "so Southwest." Plus it makes a nice contrast I think. I have to be careful, though, not to over do it.
