Andalusian Stallion One

10 x 14 charcoal drawing on paper. This is another charcoal drawing, but instead of being an Arabian, Friesian or Lusitano, it's an Andalusian. Another wonderful breed. In fact, the Andalusian is one of the ancestors of the Friesian. Spain was at war with Holland, and Andalusians were bred with the mares there. Andalusians are ancestors to many breeds including Peruvians, Paso Finos and other South American horses.
