Working Cow Horse

This is a 11 x 14 charcoal drawing on paper. I have so many horse paintings and drawings to do! I am trying to cover lots of different equine sports. This is my first western drawing. I wanted to capture the muscles of the cow horse and the determination it takes to be good at this sport. I also wanted to show the cow looking - well looking, like a cow! HA!

Thank you Theresa! I realized that I had been doing only race horses, dressage and galloping horses. etc. I needed to do a western horse! So glad you like this one!
