Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a mixed media artist who lives in Murrieta, California. I work in acrylics, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and other water and drawing media. My main subjects are abstracts, abstract landscapes, florals and gardens, equine abstracts and pet portraits. I love to use color! I try to incorporate the three C's in all of my work - color, contrast and composition! Most of these paintings are for sale. Please check with me for availability and prices if not posted. Canyon Rocks Nine

10x14 acrylic with pastel on paper. I really had fun with these colors. Believe it or not I was thinking of  ice cream colors with this!  I love the taupe/brown with the pink and aqua. I want to do some more paintings with these colors!

Carol, come to think of it, you might enjoy Stan Kurth's work on his blog entitled "Watermedia Works". He has some great drawings with an expressive style.
You can find the link to "Watermedia Works" in my blogroll on the right sidebar of my blog.

Love the ice cream colors. Looks like a large dark insect with wings...perhaps gliding in for a taste...Thank you for your comment on my 'Red Rose' painting.
