Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a mixed media artist who lives in Murrieta, California. I work in acrylics, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and other water and drawing media. My main subjects are abstracts, abstract landscapes, florals and gardens, equine abstracts and pet portraits. I love to use color! I try to incorporate the three C's in all of my work - color, contrast and composition! Most of these paintings are for sale. Please check with me for availability and prices if not posted. Abstract Quilt Two

15x19 mixed media on paper. Another quilt! More hard work! Ha! Actually this one was easier to do than the other one! I know it is good for me to do more intricate work. It keeps me disciplined!

it's so incredible, the way you succeed in gathering so many colors all together, your paintings are like a symphony where all the instruments play in harmony and never play out of tune. (...I hope my english is understandable and I don't do too many mistakes...). have a great day honey! Eli

Thanks for your comments! Wow! So nice of both of you! Try painting a bunch of squares next to each other and then paint a picture/design on each of them, then connect them with line or shapes over them and see what happens!

Hi Sharilyn,
So glad you like this one! I just completed two more - whew! My husband likes these too and tells me to do more and more! Then I say -" but, they are hard!!" I am a bit lazy I guess!! By the way, I STILL want to come up and visit and see your beautiful jewelry!
