Chestnut with Green Shadow Roll

This is an oil pastel that I did. I wanted to post it to show the qualities of oil pastels. I had discussed how much I enjoyed the brilliancy of soft pastels. Well, oil pastels are very rich and deep in color. They smudge a bit and they are not as easy to layer as soft pastels, but they do give a wonderful look. This painting was also fixed which gave it a glossy finish. Let me know what you think of oil pastels. SOLD
