Hi Carol! So what's up with these new butterfly paintings? I love them! Are you going to do them on canvas too?

Thank you for your comments. I was in the garden working and the idea came to me to do butterflies and other insects - and possibly some birds. I did some realistic drawings in colored pencil of butterflies years ago,  and thought they would be fun in an abstract painting. Once again, I usually don't work on canvas. I prefer paper. I find it to best for my mixed media approach. Plus, I love watercolor and acrylic used as a water medium.
