Valeroso Four, gestural equine ink drawing by Carol Engles

14 x 16 ink on paper. Another drawing inspired by our Peruvian stallion, Valeroso. I do these ink drawings really quickly to capture the energy of the moment. I also try not to overdraw these. Gestural drawings are surprisingly hard to do because you have to "go with the flow" and not worry about detail or exact line. To purchase, contact me at:

    Thanks Joanie! Valeroso is very animated, so I try to capture that in my drawings.
