Valeroso at Play Two, charcoal equine drawing by Carol Engles
12 x 16 charcoal on paper. Another drawing inspired by our stallion, Valeroso. Charcoal is fun to use, but it is also difficult because it smudges so easily. So, I have to be "on top of my game" when I do charcoal! HA!
This drawing is wonderful! You really captured the movement and excitement of your beautiful stallion. I agree with you about charcoal! It's messy, but you sure got great results!
