Deep Purple Canyon Two, abstract landscape painting by Carol Engless

8 x 11 acrylic with pastel on paper. I really like peach with purple. I added the contrast color of red, and an unexpected highlight of light blue. I stared at this a bit and had to decide between yellow and blue - and the blue won out!

    Thank you Melody! I need to do pieces with softer shapes - I can't just use line and charcoal! HA!
