Chartreuse Field Five, abstract landscape painting by Carol Engles
19 x 23 acrylic with pastel on paper. I really enjoy these colors. I have done several abstract landscapes with this combination. Hope you like it.
Thanks Cindy! You're so kind! These are the most relaxing pieces that I do. To your point about the depth, I find a horizon line, pencil it in and then add more detail in the foreground and less in the horizon.
I love the way you manage to get great field of depth and perspective in an abstract...almost doesn't qualify as abstract!!
