Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a mixed media artist who lives in Murrieta, California. I work in acrylics, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and other water and drawing media. My main subjects are abstracts, abstract landscapes, florals and gardens, equine abstracts and pet portraits. I love to use color! Morgan Horse at a Gallop, abstract equine drawing by Carol Engles

10 x 14 charcoal and pastel on paper. I tried to show the beauty and exuberance of a Morgan horse in this drawing.  One of my friends at the stable has a Morgan, "Nick". They were taking photos of him today. I plan to do a drawing of Nick from them. I hope I can capture his personality and energy.
