10 x 14 mixed media on paper. I am doing several of these - for the Fall season! I think of Fall colors and Voila! Creating art is a different process for everyone. Some artists plan their work out very carefully, use reference photos or sketches, or work outside and view their subject "en plein air". And then some of us, pull images or ideas out of our head. That is what I have done here. I try to keep them simple and hopefully the simplicity comes through to you. Some days I really don't want to work too hard - I just want to relax with my art!
I really like the simplicity and the complementary colors are great. It definitely says Fall. I especially like the touch of turquoise here and there.
ReplyDeleteThank you Theresa!. I like the turquoise, too. I try to add a contrasting or unexpected color, especially in my landscapes. I think it makes the piece more lively and interesting.
