Arabian in the Pasture, charcoal drawing on paper

8x11 charcoal on paper. You can't get simpler than this! Which is why I find working with charcoal  so appealing. My intent with this piece was to convey the personality and movement of an Arabian with their flamboyant trot, out stretched tail, expressive eyes and typey head - with as little line as possible.
