Copper Marsh One
15x19 mixed media on paper. Sometimes I do pieces with more neutral colors. I especially like the sky in this. I used both lavender and pink. Abstract landscapes are fun because you can give the sky and the land, if you will, any color you want. It would be predictable to me if the sky was blue and the field was green. Although you could do variations on those colors that would be fun!

Interesting piece...the horizon is almost natural, then you have the non-local color in the foreground.

Thank you both for your comments! They mean so much coming from fellow artists. I really enjoy doing abstract landscapes - they are the most relaxing style that I do. Hopefully, the serenity comes through!
