Chartreuse Corner
10x14 watercolor with pastel and charcoal on paper. This piece is done with more of a wash effect with the watercolor and then the pastel and charcoal are added in a sketchy style. I did this very quickly so that it would have a lot of energy and movement. It is very easy to overwork art and with watercolor especially it can become "muddied" or heavy looking. Does that make sense?
