Dark Marsh

This is a 10x14 acrylic with pastel on paper. I used to think that using grey was depressing - and it can be. However, grey is is neutral that can serve as a wonderful background for brighter colors. The small amount of pink and the mint green in this piece make it lively and interesting I think.
