Winter Marsh One

This is a 10x14 water media with pastel on paper. I wanted to do another marsh painting in a minimalist style. I really like the mood that I get with these. I make them up out of my head. I am trying to portray a scene with a lot of distance and subtle colors with just a highlight of bright color for some "snap". These are also very relaxing for me to do. I think it must be the subject matter!
