Olive Green Pillars

Hey! I am back from our trip to Tennessee and Kentucky! We had a lot of fun at my husband's family reunion and then went up to Kentucky to see where my grandmother was born. Beautiful country and wonderful people! I am now back to work. This piece has a deliberate use of olive green with the blue and red and some pink. Usually I would lean toward a blue green or purer green with blue and pink, but I thought I'd try olive green without a lot of yellows and oranges. Let me know what you think. Soon I will be posting daily paintings. My goal is to create five 5X7 or similar sized abstract landscapes every week and post them for you to see. My new series will be with a dominate color in each - blues, browns, greens, yellows, purples, reds and more. I think it will be fun!
