Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am a mixed media artist who lives in Murrieta, California. I work in acrylics, watercolor, pastel, charcoal and other water and drawing media. My main subjects are abstracts, abstract landscapes, florals and gardens, equine abstracts and pet portraits. I love to use color! Daily Painters International Art Gallery Challenge Painting

This is a 9x12 watercolor with pastel that I did for the 1st Artist's Challenge on the Daily Painters International Art Gallery blog. I am a member of this blog and this challenge was great fun. We were to work from three photos: a VW bug, legos & LOVE sculpture. This is what I did! Wild, huh? A Sixties painting, don't you think? I couldn't decide what to do for a long time, and then this cubist style painting came to me! Click on the challenge on the blog and see the other paintings! It's fun to see what everyone did.
