This is a 5x7 acrylic with pastel and charcoal on paper. I used to never use grey in my paintings. Because it was GREY! Then, one day I realized while I was playing around with different color combinations that grey can be an effective backdrop for more brilliant colors. Plus it exists in our environment and even during a grey day, there are points of color and light to be observed as well.
Affordable colorful abstracts, landscapes and equine art. Commissioned pet portraits. Pastel, watercolor, charcoal and acrylic. Contact me at: carol.engles@gmail.com or text me at: (951) 704-2440 Art Copyright 2008-2025
