This is another all acrylic 5x7 piece on paper. I rubbed off some of the paint and I also scraped away some of the paint with the end of my brush. I see this as a marsh leading to an inlet or ocean? Or maybe it is something else! That's the fun of abstracts! I am really enjoying working with acrylics as watercolor. Affordable colorful abstracts, landscapes and equine art. Commissioned pet portraits. Pastel, watercolor, charcoal and acrylic. Contact me at: carol.engles@gmail.com or text me at: (951) 704-2440 Art Copyright 2008-2025

Light Green Trees
Hey! I was in Seattle for 5 days for my niece's wedding. It was wonderful to see her & her husband start their new life! I'm back at work now. Here is a 4x4 with acrylic on paper. I am trying to use acrylic by itself and see what happens. I paint the acrylic and then rub some of it off with a rag to get some texture.

Orange Red Burst
Boy! I guess I was in the mood for bright colors with this one. Pastels are so much fun, because they are so vibrant. I don't like to apply fixative to pastels unless necessary because it can take a way some of the brightness. It's a personal preference. This piece is 8x10 and compliments others that I have on my website.
